Wiring Install
I finally got around to starting to install the Rockford Fosgate amp but have a few questions.
Where do most people put their fuse holder? I couldn't find any space that is within the recommended <18 inches from (+) so stuck it temporarily on the side of the battery using 3M tape. Also, the 0/1 gauge wire is huge and can't be run behind cab trims. How should it be run to be hidden from plain view? Under the carpet maybe?
Also, are there any quality high output alternator manufacturers out there beside PowerMaster? I checked Summit Racing and they quoted me ~500 bucks for the only HO PM that is available! I really don't feel like spending that kind of cash right now since I still am looking for the right head unit. The RF manual actually says that if your electrical system is in good working order then the stock system should be fine for any Power amps. It seems peculiar...
