Just a question or two about amps. I have a 98 F150 Scab and was wandering what would be the best way to go about this. I just upgraded the front and back speakers, IniRefs in the front and Polks in the rear. I bought the truck already with an aftermarket h/u in it (Pioneer cd). I need more power and also eventually want a su (nothing too booming), just enough to make the cab rock. I listen too a lot of everything but mostly rock and progressive metal. First question...
1. 2 channel, 4 channel amp, do i need to power the rears if i'm going to have a sub down the road?
2. 1 amp or 2 amps, should the sub be powered separetly or could i get away with an amp for everything?
For the sub i was thinking small (1) 8 or 10 in. I would like to be able to fit the amp(s) under the front seat(s) and the sub under the driverside rear seat.
Any help would be great. Thanks

I would recommend two separate amps, a 4 channel amp for the speakers, anywhere from 50x4 rms to 75x4 rms, and a dedicated sub amp. If your jack is located under the rear seat you can install the amps under the front seats (as long as its not too big). For the sub, there are quite a few 10" subs that will fit under the rear seat in a down firing box.
