Amp Wiring

Hi everyone, a friend of mine is putting subs in his 01 SuperCrew with the stock stereo. I will be helping him install it and we need to know how to get the signal to the amp. I just put some subs in my Maxima and I tapped the rear speakers with an adapter. Is there something we need to do similiar to this for his truck? Thanks!

Do the same thing you did with your car...line converter tapped from the rear speakers.

Thanks for the info. I used the PAC SNI35 adapter in my car. Here is a description of it:
"The model SNI-35 is used to add an amplifier to a stereo which has speaker level outputs (typical factory or aftermarket stereo and two or four speaker system). Adjusts each channel separately to convert 2 to 30 watts of stereo power per channel to the precise level of pre-amp RCA output level required for the amplifier that is added."
Will this work on his truck? Also, where should we wire the turn on wire for the amp? Thanks!

You can wire the remote turn-on into the fuse panel.

Is there any particular place I need to put it in the fuse panel of just pick any fuse that is only on when the car is running and put the wire in there.

Any fuse that is on when the car is on will work.
