Madd -

I'm guessing by your post that you are a happy US Acoustic Amp owner. Can you share some info regarding your set-up?

I'm curious as to what speakers you are using, what subs, where your cross-over points are at, etc.

I went to the link you provided and spent some time reading the specs for all of their amps.

I did not see anything extraordinary in their ratings, so I was wondering what you think of the S/N Ratio, headroom, etc.

I'm gonna be in the market for a new amp soon, and want people's experience more than sales literature...

Thanks for any info you can provide...

I wouldn't get one amp for all of it. You'd be much better getting an amp for the door speakers and a class D for the sub. The door speakers probably only need about 50 w RMS each, but a good sub will need around 300. Check ebay for an amp, I jsut got a brand new MTX Thunder 6500D for $250 shipped, retail for $499 at crutchfield.com. I'd start with the class D, and if you have money get another amp for the speakers, if not just run them off of the HU for now, you won't be able to tell much of a difference.

I have an Orion amp in my boat and am very happy with its peformance . It is not one of the HIGH END amps but there entry level Cobalt line mine is a 5 channel amp that runs my sub and 4 speakers with plenty of power and good sound.
