Hello, Good morning & Welcome to you, sir!

Start here, if you will: ==> https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...unes-read.html

Being just an old ignant Canuckian redneck hillybilly beerwolf, I cannot possibly convey this anywhere near as well as Sir Jack already has in the above dissertation, but here is some more info:

Some well-respected tuners:

Custom:
www.troyerperformance.com - SCT Xcal3, Livewire - Mike Troyer
www.vmptuning.com - SCT Xcal3, Livewire - Justin Starkey
www.gopowerhungry.com - Gryphon, SCT Xcal3 - Bill & Corey Cohron

Canned:
www.superchips,com - Flashpaq, Cortex
www.edgeproducts.com - Edge EVO & variants
www.diablosport.com - Predator, Trinity - (also offers custom tuning) - Mike

Try to delve into the Advance Search features on this site - works very well: https://www.f150online.com/forums/search.php

As you can expect yer question has been asked thousands of times. And the answer depends largely upon yer needs, budget, expectations, present and planned future modifications, willingness to learn, etc. It can be a very personal choice.

Also very advisable to call / contact a few of the custom tuner fellers & discuss. It's amazing what you will learn.

After all of that, you may find yerself feeling like this: . No worries - That's normal

Good luck in yer research!

If you want my personal choice, it would be one of the custom tuners, either SCT or Gryphon, as that is where you will find the best results. It may cost a little more, and there will be a bit of a queue, but is well worth it.

Have a safe and productive day, Mr. Buckshot!
