True Plug & Play HID?

Where can I find an HID conversion kit that is truly plug and play. I have seen few people on here refer to flashplus and his kits claim plug and play but are they really? I would spend extra to get a kit that I wouldnt have to cut into my wiring. Does anyone make one specifically for our F150's?

Yes I know to do it properly I should go projector, but that is going to be a project for later. I just need some lights in there for now.

understand that true HID (like Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, etc.) requires a retro kit with OEM projectors, etc. Everything else is just a brighter form of your normal Halogen bulbs, but using the same bulbs and ballasts as a retro. IOW, 50% of a true HID is the OEM projector.

look at McCulloch's kits .... they have the plug and play option or their "upgraded harness"... if you get just the regular kit (whether single beam or bi=xenon) they are plug and play... i've got a set of single beams in my living room but for a different vehicle.... would definitly recommend.

Don't mean to hi-jack, but is there a bi-xenon for the F-150? I'd hate to have HID lows and halogen highs and have the low beams brighter than the highs.

I bought an HID kit from seller HID4U on ebay and it was perfectly plug and play, very simple to put in and the results are fantastic. Mine is a bixenon kit, check my gallery for low beam/high beam comparison.

i was at the Houston AutoShow today and there was a vendor there selling HID kits. im buying one tomorrow. They are true plug and play, and they have a lifetime warranty on the bulb and the ballasts. he had a couple of them hooked up and they looked very good. and the price isnt bad at all

i also have the kit from HID4u and i love it. its very bright and i picked it up for 79 shipped. it was a true plug and play and took me about 15 in to install (in -40 windchill)

Adam check out Item #230213150730. I'm in no way affiliated with HID4u. I just happened to be looking at it when you asked.

those look like great kits, but they only have a 2 year warranty.

How do the Hi/Low bulbs work in this kit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H13-9...mZ230213150728

Compared to ones in kits like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9007-...spagenameZWDVW

i believe they have a small motor or solonoid that moves the bulb slightly and brings it into a highbeam position. i think thats how my kit works and it works great. no problems what so ever
