you'll be fine, you just wont have a high beam. I rarely use the high beam, the low beam puts out more than enough light. My fogs just came in, ill install them tomorrow or something.

What temp did you go with?

ive been looking to upgrade my lighting for a while. i put the silverstar ultras in my wifes expy and silverstars in her fogs and it looks 100% better. as u all know they dont make ultras for f150s, i was being cautious about hid kits on ebay because the price range was so crazy, but i think im going to go with the 8000k from hid4u. anyone have the 8000k or think its too blue, its a toss up between the 6000 and 8000

Damn I should've done that... mine's not entirely PnP. It came with 3 pinned wires that I'm going to have to splice. I got the 5000k kit from HID4U... I'm anxious to install it but haven't found the time yet.

I have 8000k on my Miata, to be honest there blue but your eyes get used to it. I like the 8000k because they stand out. But my next set for my truck may be 6000k, i haven't decided.

My Hid kit on my miata flickers every once in a wile, its annoying, cant seem to find a fix for it... cheap chinese knock off

anyone know which bulb goes in a 98 f150

Hid

I have 9007 HID's HI/Lo on my 03screw, i use 8000k, it has a blue-ish color, really bright, always get compliments on how they look, I have stock headlights by the way...the bright are halogen, which I don't use but it's always nice to have a back up when the HID's burn out...
