I talked to my Ford deealer--Price is firm?

I looked at a 2025 Ford F-150, and the salesmen said the MRSP was a firm price. I asked about ordering one (also firm).

Anyone here bought one lately?

Why would you order a 2025 when the 2026's can be ordered?

I'd try a different dealer.

I'm with glc on this. If you're gonna order a truck this late in the year, order a 26. And, if you want to settle for a 25, shop around. With the number of recalls Ford has had, I suspect you can find a dealer willing to deal.

Thanks,
I found a dealer that told me about a Ford deal on a lease.
$431 /mo. for 36 mos.
Ford Credit Red Carpet Lease
$431 Cash Due at Signing

$0 Down Payment
Security Deposit Waived
Taxes, Title, License Fees Extra

I think taxes are on the amount of the lease and not on the price of a truck. The title and license fees are $40. It's $15.5K over 36 months. It will be parked in my driveway, so they clean it up after 3 years. The warranty will expire when I turn it in.

It's disappointing when a guy can't really buy one at the advertised price.

My local Ford Dealer is great on service. They are not good at selling cars to buyers. I can wait longer than they can stay solvent.

Sounds like a crappy poopy dealer. I bought mine from Mark Ficken Ford in Charlotte NC and I got their advertised price plus a spray in bedliner, thrown in by the dealer. And the advertised priced was very good on my XL. It was so competitive it was one of the lowest in the United States advertised for my truck on any of the car search apps like AutoTradercars.com etc.

Pretty sure you have a volume dealer in Georgia. Going to have to shop around because MSRP is unacceptable. They don't deal, move on only way you get a good price.

Thanks,
Volume dealers may also mean high-overhead. I am working dealer #4 for a deal that is close to what Ford advertises.

This is not going well for me: I have previously bought six Ford F-series trucks. We sat down and did a deal.

Today, the dealers are more interested in adding dealer installed marked-up options than delivering a nice Ford F-150. I leave with the idea that Ford dealers think we are really stupid.
