2017 2.7, want to upgrade my fuel tank to 36 Gal

I've been searching online for a 36 gallon tank to replace my 23. I haven't been able to find one and not sure if it's possible. Any help or direction to look would be appreciated.

I found this on another forum from A/Ox4

"Yes, I did the tank swap from the 23 gal to the 36 gal. It is very easy, just takes patience and elbow grease. You will need a new tank (including a heat shield if the tankdoesnt come with one) and the fuel pump from a 36 gallon tank. The fuel pump on the 23 gallon tank is different. Other than that, its all a direct swap including electrical and fuel lines. I found my tank used on car-part.com. All said and done, it cost me about $150."

Awesome, I've been having trouble finding one for 2017. Do you know if any other year will fit?

2015 through 2020 will work. It looks like any wheelbase and either 2wd or 4wd will fit.

Wow, sincerely thank you so much for all of the input! I found a tank from LKQ. They are going to deliver it to my local yard for me to go take a look at before I buy it. I’m anxious to upgrade this tank! For the most part, I’m good with the 360 miles or so I get out of the tank however whenever I pull my camper my mileage drops to about 11 miles to the gallon so I’m only barely getting 180 before I need to fill it up. I’m anxious to go 300 with the camper in tow.

Transfar Flow does not have replacement tanks for that truck, only in-bed auxiliary tanks. They are EXPENSIVE.

Correct, I called Transfer Flow. They have 2018-2021

49 gallon Tanks avail. Just not for the 2017. Idk what changed. I just picked up the 36 Gal from LKQ. Now Waiting on the fuel pump.

Can you imagine a 49 Gal under bed tank though!?! $175 to fill it up. Haha

Not quite that bad here yet - regular 87 E10 is $2.41 to $2.69. Premium 91 E10 can be found as low as $2.85 but most places are over 3 bucks. If you want no ethanol, it's only legal to sell 91 E0 in Missouri, it's $3.35 and up.
