Hello all! So I just upgraded from an 04 FX4 to an 18 F-150 Lariat! I’m running through my mods wish list and one of those are a big break kit. However, I can’t seem to find one that is compatible with the electric parking break. Anyone have anything?

 

Why do you want that?

I don't like the newer vehicles having the electronic parking brakes, way too much to go wrong.

 

Because it looks cool. Lol and caliper covers seem tacky to me. But I’ll probably get some to check out.
And I didn’t choose to have the electric break. Just happened to have it. Let’s face it though, there’s a lot that can go wrong with any part if these trucks.

 

You didn’t look hard enough. Wilwood makes one. Use 2018 for model year, and yes they’ll work with electric brake. Baer will work too. On the front parts there’s no difference to the actual brake components.
The panic brake feature (maybe the parking brake, too) is controlled by pressure line box under the air cleaner.
