If the pedal is dead - will not rev up - it's a throttle control issue, not transmission issue.

Well, I was wrong. The tach jumped to 4K today as it slipped. I guess I didn't notice it before because it's usually early morning and I'm going slow out of the neighborhood.
I think I'm feeling a small slip on some shifts too.

Any ideas??

Thanks for the reply GLC!

Ok, more specifics...

Trans IS slipping. It hates cold mornings and 4th gear. Seems to like to slip and almost come out of gear going from 3-4. So far never a problem in 5th gear and up.

Is it just time to rebuild?

I Have an 2018 STX 2WD and have 44000 KM on it with no problem at all.

Before few month I see it getting hard on shifting I check the fluid was low on it like 1/2 litter only but till now all was great.

OK, dealer is putting in a new transmission. I'm 5k past warranty but Ford is helping. They haven't said what yet, but didn't turn their back on me.

My transmission is 2k miles past warranty. I filed a case with Ford but they came back today and said they don't have any financial assistance for my problem. Did Ford end up assisting you on your transmission replacement.

Ford Paid half. Funny thing was the dealership wanted 8k, but if Ford chips in they charge 10k because it's warranty work. Ford paid 5k to save me 3k. Stupid system.

Isn't there a class action lawsuit on the 10 speed now? Ask them about that...

There was one in Illinois and Pennsylvania but I think the judge dismissed them. Maybe I need to start a new one in Texas. There are a lot of Ford F150's here.

Just heard back from the dealer that I need a new transmission ($7400.00). (2018 F150 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost 10 spd.) I had the same shifting problems as jjmll. I am also 5,686 over the warranty. I called Ford customer service to see what they would say. They said they do not have any assistance for me on this repair. Told me to hang on to my receipt in case there is a recall in the future.

jjmll, What exactly was the process you used to get Ford to partially pay? Thanks in advance for your help.
