Is there a way to increase the range of the Homelink? I have to be very close for the garage door to open or close while my wife's MKX can be around the block and the door will operate. I've cleared then reentered the code numerous times with no luck. I'm not exactly sure how these things work like if there's a transmitter located somewhere or just an antenna wire hanging down.
Any help or suggestions certainly would be appreciated.

my 2017 F150 also has a very short range on the homelink. I found the short wire/antenna that picks up the signal at the opener. I extended it to outside the door, but it didn't increase the range. I will be following your thread to see if there are alternate suggestions/solutions.
