I disabled the auto stop and start. Just did not like it. I also live in FLA and it gets very hot and the off and on of the AC ended it for me. The fix above takes about 20 minutes. And yea pushing the button is a POS !@!@!

 

I'm in south FL, the auto stop start will start the motor back up if cabin temp starts to get warm. Auto stop/start not an issue for me.

 

What I find amazing is all the whining about someone wanting to modify their truck to suit individual taste. I'm betting it's a case of doing online what you couldn't get away with in person. Imagine the same behavior every time someone wanted to do something truly useless like a leveling kit or blacked out headlights.
