Patman, I checked out how my KR's bumper caps are attached last night and (as well as I could get under there and see) there are at least 8 plastic tabs that secure through holes in the bumper itself...so, to add the Ford OEM bumper caps would require drilling the stock bumper...would be a lot of work. Or you could change out the stock bumper for a KR bumper that is pre-drilled...probably be a lot more work and expense though. I'd look into a good wrap shop. I'm having this done shortly (to cover the chrome center section of the bumper) and he is "printing" my wrap custom using the Ford OEM color and says it will match exactly. We shall see and I'll post pics once done...new to the world of wrapping so not sure how close the match is going to be, but at only $150.00 - even if I don't like it, I'll remove it and not be worse off for the trial.

I belive all trim level bumpers are pretty drilled, you'd just need caps and hardware

Brad8899, looks good! I have the same grill you took off but love it. I think the mirror caps definitely set it off!

Thanks! Coming from a 2013 XLT to a 2015 XLT, it's a world of difference! And I believe that the chrome mirror caps really set it off too!

Pathan is correct - you cannot add the end caps to a bumper that did not come with them. There are a couple of cutout and upwards of 30 holes (some square).

PM, sorry if I'm misunderstanding your reply, but since Brad's XLT didn't come with the end caps (stock) his bumper is not predrilled - so he'd either have to replace the entire bumper with a pre-drilled bumper (trim level) or try and drill himself which may or may not work as the end cap attachment holes are actually square or oval...

Looks great. How hard was it to remove the grill? I can't even see any mounting screws.

Looks good, nice looking truck. I don't know why but I prefer the XLT grill style over the squished looking higher end model grill. I feel the XLT style should be the higher model grill. Perhaps in time it'll grow on me.

Thank you! I've noticed that a lot of people prefer the XLT grill over the lariat and above. IMO, I think the lariat grill makes the truck look more modern!

It certainly does have character. Looking at it more and more I do like it. Especially with the painted bumper caps.

Because the XLT grill reminds you (and me too) of the Harley grill. I have seen a few of the new XLT grills with the surround painted and they really look like the Harley grills.

They new Lariat grill like I have has grown on me. I thought about replacing it with the XLT and surround painted but now I like it and will just leave as is.
