What did your dealer charge to "flash"?

I installed a OEM brake comtroller in my 2015 F150 and I called my dealer to find about having the computer flashed. They quoted me a half hour labor charge of $77. It seems like such a ripoff for what I've heard is 5 minutes worth of work. I was just wondering if it's worth it for me to shop around at other dealers or is this around the going rate for what other people have paid?

I drove around the service bays and found a tech that did it for $40 bucks cash.

Had to remove your second thread as only one per subject is allowed. Just causes too much confusion for those trying to help.

Mine charged $50 as I recall to flash the ECM to make the Daytime Running Lights work. I suspect the hourly rate varies by location.

When I had my 2005 XL flashed to enable cruise control, they charged me $99, which at the time was my local dealers hour labor charge.

Is it safe to assume the wiring harness is already there, making this plug and play after the flash?
