It hasn't been 7 weeks if you ordered on September 27th. More like 5. Just sayin.

Let me be more specific.
Ordered week of (Monday) September26th Ford computer system confirmed my order on Tuesday 9-27 clear with no issues.
Week 2 Oct 3
Week 3 Oct 10
Week 4 Oct 17
Week 5 Oct 24
Week 6 Oct 31
Week 7 Nov 7 (I was presuming I would not hear over the weekend).

Just saying

Even starting on the 26th, that was was only 41 days as of yesterday.

A week is 7 days long. 41 / 7 = 5.85 weeks. You were in the 5th week yesterday.

Today starts the 6th week. 6 weeks from the 27th starts tomorrow.

Also if your truck is being built in Kansas City there was at least a week or two delay.

That's a normal time frame. It is estimated and could be more or less. Over here it is saying 10-12 weeks.

http://www.donlen.com/production-trucks-ford.html

And that is less than Super Duty and Transit. Same as Explorer and Expedition.

Also a note from this site: "5- F150 production start up is 09/26/16 for Dearborn Truck Plant and 10/18/16 for Kansas City Truck Plant."

http://www.donlen.com/buildstart-trucks-ford.html

So counting from November 5th that was only 18 days from startup for a KC build. Give it more time or look on the lots if you don't want the wait.

My 2017 work truck was ordered through ARI on Wednesday of this week. I'll be curious to know how long it takes to get delivered. I doubt the order has hit Ford's "to do" desk yet though.

Just go away, ok?

Enjoy your simple 32 valve DOHC 5.0 with twin independent variable cam timing and piston cooling jets. It really is a simple engine, isn't it?

I ain't worried about it. I owned an early build 2011 Ecoboost for 3.5 years and never had any issues with it. My 2014 hasn't had any issues either.
