I have had my truck for a month and the panic button on the key fob has panicked on my behalf three times now. The button gets pushed when the key fob is in my pocket. I don't need the panic button because my Sig 3" barrel 9mm panic button is a lot louder. My 2 3/4" barrel Speed Six 357 mag with Buffalo Bore ammo panic button is quite loud. Basically I have my panic button need already taken care of.


So does anyone know how or has anyone disabled the key fob panic button?

 

Google answered it. I have to take the fob apart and cut down the pin behind the button.

 

I agree the panic button is a lot more touch on this FOB than my previous one. I have set it off in my pocket quite a few times already.
