I'm planning to do the center console swap on my 2015. My truck is a column shift but most of the consoles I see on ebay are console shift. Can I use the console with the shifter then simply replace the shifter with the extra pocket? (See pictures below)

after you get the console swap done, you can consider doing this too. Well worth the upgrade if you don't have the shifter

Also me. Just went from a 13 platinum to an 18 XLT. The jump seat is the only thing I just can’t abide. I’ll swap to leather ASAP too but I’m a short woman. The jump seat is in my armpit as an armrest so I leave it up. Used to having the floor shift. Struggling with the down grade.

 

You can order the XLT "lower panel" which gives you the box on the left. The cupholders will be XLT so they wouldn't fit in a Lariat console but you can swap the lariat cupholders to the XLT lower panel; then it'll fit. The Lower Panel goes under the trim piece that's on top. You didn't say the trim level of the console.
