I don't blame ya there. Can't beat the way that v8 sounds even with stock exhaust

While not endorsing one system over the other I would offer the following. I have an 05 Supercrew with a 5.4. Bought it new and immediately installed a Gibson stainless cat-back dual system. Truck just hit 11 years old and now has 111,000 miles. Gibson system still on it, including original Gibson muffler. At 9 years old and about 95,000 miles one of the stainless tips fell off because the pipe it was connected to rotted out. Found the original paperwork, contacted Gibson and sent some pictures and within a week a box arrived with new rear pipes and new tips (even though the original tips were fine). No charge. Now that's a warranty. I think the stainless system was originally around $550.

I'm not trying to turn this into an ecoboost bashing thread, but that sound from the flowmaster 2.7

To each their own, Bob - I happen to like the V6 sound.
