weather tech no drill mud flaps

I only have the front set on to try and keep the mud and snow off my running boards, any one who has them tell me how they do? They went easy and look great. They follow the body line perfectly but seem to leave a gap between the plastic wheel well liner and the back of the flap, Is this normal?

Thanks for the reply/link, mine don't rub at all but they have the 1/8th to 1/4 inch gap like the red truck between the flaps a the inner plastic wheel well liner. Maybe its the cam lock or did I screw something up? Just wondering if any any else has a gap or if they should sit flush against the plastic liner?

I have the rears. It does keep a gap there. I wonder if it's for drainage, to make sure crap doesn't stay trapped in there.

Contact weathertech support and send them a picture. They will tell you if is properly installed. Mine rubbed on the tire while turning on uneven surfaces. Like grass and gravel roads. So I put a set of Husky liners on much better fit.
