I just noticed the same thing on my 2016 Lariat. I held out for the 2016 after hearing how good Sync 3 was supposed to be, but so far it's not as good as my 2010 was.

Why?, rear view camera has poor contrast and worse the beeps from the reverse sensing system can hardly be heard. Have it booked in to see if my dealer can fix.

What a crock. Not being able to watch while driving was not good enough for them I guess. Had I known, along with the inability to change the background like on previous models, I maybe would not have bought this truck. Too many stupid little things.

Hopefully they quieted down the reverse beeps for the 16. I cant talk on the phone while reversing and can't turn the beeps off.

you 'about spit your drink'?

Do you own FORD?

Vested interest or just a fanboy?

Quit being such a douche. Arrogant much?

You should maybe have your overly sensitive tummy looked at.

I am a ford for life guy, I currently drive a 2015 f150 xlt supercrew with 5.0.

I just really think it's funny some people complain about such a trivial issue like "cant change the background color".

Really??

This guy strikes me as the type of guy who would buy a tricked out FX4 with max tow, but never to anything bigger than his mother in law in the back seat and ever engage 4x4, let alone drive off pavement

You know, like most people who buy trucks nowadays...

Who cares what you drive? Who are you trying to convince? Do you go to all the forums to fight?
A $70,500 truck should have at least the same features that my 2012 f350 has, and that the 2014's had.
Wgaff how I strike you, or where I drive? Is that how you measure yourself against others, whether you engage 4x4 or not? LOL!
Max tow, give me a break, the eco boost is a cute little truck that replaced my 2012 5.0 as a daily driver. I tow with my 6.7 diesel, drive my 6.0 diesel in deep snow when I want to play, use the 5.4 for snow plowing, this 'max tow' unit as you call it (haha omg funny) is my commute vehicle.
My vehicles get a combined 60,000 miles yearly, and since the 80's all I have owned other than 2 chev trucks have also been fords. Again, who cares.
Drop it, you are making yourself look worse with every rambling reply you spew in here.

If you say so, enjoy your 2012 and the pink background you can set with it...

Can you stream video? Like off your phone.

I think a lot of people are moving away from CD's kinda like tape decks. Less crap to break in these as well.

Just a thought.

That's true. My wife's new car doesnt even have a cd player as an option, but it does all sorts of bluetooth this and that, plus aux input. I have played a cd exactly twice in my 2015 f150, but am glad it's there

I feel yer pain. I remember when my new 86 model wouldn't take my cassette tapes. Damn near took it back, especially when they should a learned better after my 76 Camaro wouldn't take eight tracks. Always pushin new technology on old folks. Who do they think they are?

Classic example of the pot calling the kettle black.
