That's the kind of experience I love to hear about, joe t.! If you'd like, I'll be happy to give your dealership a digital pat on the back by documenting your feedback. PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, dealer info, and any specifics you'd like me to include. I'll take it from there!

I dropped off my 2011 F250 for maintenance and they cut me a deal on that. I asked they TRY to cover a TSB on the shift flare on the F250 and they worked on that and said they would get back to me on it. Seems like they are trying to get it done, great truck but the shift flare is realy annoying.
Good dealer experince overall and I have no issues with buying from them again, maybe when Ford releases the 2017 raptor.

Sure thing, joe t.! I'd recommend editing your public post to remove your personal information. How many miles are on your 2011? I'll see what options are available to assist.

Cool deal. Yeah they told me since it was out of warranty it would be hard to apply a tsb. Only reason I asked is because it took a lot of research to figure out the issue and i found the tsb.
2011 6.2 liter built within the dates of affected vehicles but it has around 100k miles on it now.
Nothing will give you a pucker factor of 5 like trying to get onto the freeway near downtown with a loaded gooseneck and having it drop from third to first gear almost blowing the motor and then bouncing around between gears so you cant accelerate. I am getting it fixed regardless, but see what you can do, that would be cool. I am dealing with Jason Schnoider in service at Helfman Ford.

Again, with ordering, you have NO idea when the truck will arrive. So it's a complete crap shoot. Especially this time of year, you arent getting ANY incentives on 2015's till like April... so all the talk of getting rebates and incentives when ordering is a moot point for the OP right now. Unless he plans on ordering in May or June
There will be incentives. There will always be incentives. The 2016 will be out before the end of the year. You think we have to wait to April for ANY incentives. You need to inform youself.
There were $500-$1000 in incentives when the 2015s first came out.
Evidence:
1) first guy to order a 2015 on f150online got the deal at $500 less than invoice + $1000 incentive (in november 2014) + $750 cash back:
https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ml#post5119424
2) there's also a post on f150forum.com which stated the $1000 incentives at that time + private cash offers. I don't have time to look it up.
I know you love the 2015s but you are just like the 2014 guys who were talking down the 2015s saying they were too expensive and NFG. Same thing is said every year. Next the 2016 or 2017 guys will be talking down the 2018 refresh with the 10 speed. Same old same old from you guys bashing the next year models. smh.

"There won't be any incentives! Buy the old one like me!"
I bought with Z Plan and yes you do get all the rebates. I lucked out with 5500 in rebates in addition to the plan discount. Only one you can't use with the A,Z,D, X plans is the $750 coupon you get if you order a brochure. ....if they still do that.
My '13 was delivered in January 2013 and Ford was offering rebates....so you never know.

PS
The OP is not ordering anything right now. He is just asking in general do people like ordering or buying off the lot. OP already has a 2015 that he ordered. See the signature.

I usually pick out of inventory because I am looking for a popular item. But this time I wanted a 6.5ft supercrew and they are few and far between in Dallas. There are plenty in Denver but that doesn't do me any good. Not many 16's are coming OEM with trailer brake controllers. I found that odd. I could buy one for 110 bucks and pay a dealer tech to enable it in the software but I am not too keen on jerking my new dash out to add one. The wife wanted the side steps and I wanted the LED spotlight mirrors so I ordered one this year.

I can say that when using x-plan my dealership was more than generous on my trade in. One was a 10 year old Explorer, that KBB listed as worth $1500 retail. The dealership gave me $2k. The other was a 2011 F-150, that KBB said was worth ~$27k retail. They gave me $25k for it even with the blemishes.
When I ordered my last truck the I asked about this exact thing. The dealership told me that since I ordered it today the incentives and rebate available to day would be locked in, however if they are replaced with a better deal I would get those when the truck came in. The rebates didn't change, so I wasn't able to test it.
