Does anyone know the amperage of the alternator on a 3.5 EB Crew Cab Lariat. I haven't seen it documented anywhere, but I may be blind. I thought it was usually listed in the standard equipment on the window sticker, but I didn't see it.

I looked for probably 15 minutes but couldn't find it. Very odd that it's not listed anywhere! If it's not in you Owner's Manual then call Ford CS (or their rep on this forum) and ask them.

 

Doesn't it depend on whether or not you have a trailer tow package? It used to be that way, back in 2005. My King Ranch of that year had trailer tow and a 130 Amp alternator.

But, I honestly don't know what my 2014 has, because I don't have the window sticker.

I found somewhere that the 2015 F-150 Platinum alternator is 200A

 

The 2.7 comes with a 200A alternator. I would expect the 3.5 to be the same. It can get crazy with the Super Duty with optional twin alternators at 357 amps.

 

The base XL 2015 F-150s have 200 amp alternators also.

 

Have you tried the VIN decoder? They have the alternator amps for my truck.
