200 over invoice is very decent on a brand new model in short supply, and with a dent and needing tires 26 is about right on the tradein.

I started at 200 over invoice, I keep rebates.

Put $500 down to order, and negotiated down to invoice pricing or XPlan pricing (*), which ever is better.

The dealership will make money regardless, even with selling at invoice.
I believe their hold-back is 3% of total MSRP.
