how are those new KO2s doing in the snow? I just got mine and haven't tested them out off road yet, but I already LOVE them compared to the KM2s I just got rid of.

Your truck seems to be getting nicer everyday. How are the coilovers so far? I've been looking into getting a set but haven't heard much about them.

coilovers are awesome. they are stiffer but take and absorb big objects better. you can feel more small road imperfections more since the spring is stiffer and more heavy duty. doesnt nosedive under braking and squats alot less as well.

Wow! Your truck is eye candy. The Platinum badging is how Ford should have done it. Is the badging from the F250 and did you install it yourself? Last question, where can I get the Corsa tips from. Keep the pictures coming.

5.5 bed dimensions

I was hoping you could do me a favor or know off hand. Are the dimensions (length x width) of the 2015 bed the same as a 2011? I have the same truck you have on order and was hoping to take my bed cover and transfer but I can't anything accurate online to compare dimensions. Do you think you could measure you bed (length x width) for me when you get a chance. I would really appreciate it. Thank you

Your truck looks absolutely amazing. I am a first timer looking at a Platinum F150 and would love to make it similar to your build. Any chance you would mind summarizing each mod you made with its price and pros / cons? Like a pro for lift overall being a better look but some sort of decreased longevity of some other part? Like I said, I am a complete neophyte on trucks, so understanding what a 2" autospring vs a 3" block vs coilovers is for, etc? No problem if that is too much to ask, just thought I would. Inspiring build!

Same here. I sold my 2005 F150 fully loaded/modified Lariat in 2011 for a 2012 BMW X5. I really miss that truck and didn't plan on going to an F150 again, until I sat in one of these at the dealer. These new 2015s have me thinking about another black SuperCrew Platinum or maybe this silver color now.

Just wish the 3.5 ecoboost was a bit stronger, had the 10 speed auto, and get rid of the radio antenna next to the hood. Maybe we'll see a few tweaks by 2017 and then I can justify getting rid of the X5.

Fun to still see some old friends on here like Rockpick!

Beautiful and tastefully done. I am big fan of that Silver esp with the monochromatic scheme of the Platinum.

dubsesd, beautiful truck!!

Question, as of your most recent pics you are lifted 3" in the front via the coil overs and 3" in the rear with a block correct? When you put the 3" block in the rear did you remove the factory block or just add the 3" block onto it?

On the front drivetrain, do you think the 3" lift up front will cause any excessive wear vs a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit?

i replaced the rear factory blokc with a 3" block. i have adjusted the coilovers last week to 2.75" of lift. with 35" tires it sits 41.8" front and 43" rear to the fenders. very happy with the look and ride. the UCA's and CV's are roughly at the same angles as my last truck, and i had no issues with my last platinum over 4 years.. even the bearings and balljoint were tight and working great, so i think this setup should be fine.

How is the drive shaft connections? Did you need or would it benifit from a spacer?
