Cool Texas State Fair Videos

Very cool and relaxing video of the F-150 parking itself at the State Fair of Texas Media Preview.

Rambo, Nice video. I think I'm in love with the new King Ranch and the blonde girl at the 12 seconds mark who works for Ford.

Active Parking is pretty cool to experience. I had a rental car in Australia with it that did parallel and 90 deg parking. Dropped my wife off while she did some shopping and then drove around the car park just automatically parking the car. People must have thought I was insane.

With parallel only I'm not sure I'd use it a lot but I think it might come in handy for the occasional trip downtown where the street parking is tight.

Active Park Assist Demonstration

"Class-exclusive active park assist Active park assist uses two ultrasonic sensors and electric power-assisted steering to help drivers parallel park. The sensors measure the gap between two vehicles to determine if there is enough room for the F-150. After confirming the F-150 can fit, the truck automatically steers into the space, while the driver operates the accelerator and brake pedals."

The 360 deg camera looks worth getting if you're towing and hitching up trailers.
