Does anyone know if they will have [U]any[U] rebates on the new F150?

Will they even do the trade in and finance incentives? Just looking for something to look forward to.

 

Just by what I have researched, I feel that it will possibly go the same route as Expedition, $1000 Customer Cash. I think the hype is way to high for Ford to give rebates, they aren't dumb.

 

Of course there will be rebates and finance offers. They will be dumb not to give any and the trucks as great as they are wouldn't sell with no rebates. No rebates is just not going to happen.

Rebates will be the same as they've always been, starting at small and working their way up throughout the model year. Search the forum for threads back in 2004, 2009, 2011 for similar examples. The only truck that won't ever have factory rebates is the 2016 Raptor.

Your ordered trucks won't arrive to around February so that should work out in your favor and there should be some kind of rebate by that time. I'll agree that it will be maybe $0 or some kind of fiance offer to $500 to $1000 to start. Then it will go to $1500 to $2500. Then $3500. Then up to $4500. The 2015 Transit has $1500 rebate right now. I wouldn't worry that there are no rebates on the 2015 F-150 right now as they'll having finished building the factory yet or started building the first one. They're all pre-production vehicles right now.

There are also dealer discounts. You get the dealer discount - any factory rebates. Did you get a price on your order yet or are you just going to deal with that when it comes in? Invoice minus rebates is what I'd shoot for.

 

One other thing. February is when special orders are to arrive and that's Washington's Birthday. There will be offers to celebrate Preidents Day.

 

They will have to do something, GM, Ram, Toyota and Nissan are all still in the truck game. Sure the new F150 will be the most desirable truck but at what price? Ford will have to tap dance between what they want to sell trucks for (MSRP) and what people will buy them for. I suspect it will be close to the price of the next best truck on the market and not too much more than the worst.
