Does anyone know how to get the mileage that you reset the "check oil" light?

But, if you've kept the receipts, they'll have the dates, and those, combined with the total mileage on your truck would tend to support your claim that you changed the oil appropriately.

We DID drift off, didn't we? I suspect there's no way to do what you want, but possibly a Ford Tech would know for sure. Why don't you ask at a dealership?

I was in the dealership yesterday to pick up some touchup paint. I asked the service rep when oil changes should be done as my computer told me to do it about 10,000 miles. The handbook says 7500-10000. He said 5,000. I'm wondering why?
Is the Ford representative watching these comments available to clear this up?

Motorcraft blend in Walmart is about $17 for a 5 qt container so a 5000 mile oil change won't bankrupt anyone.

The OLM is not programmed for a recall information as far as I know. I would suggest just changing the last 2 digits of the mileage you think it was at and write it down in a log book. You need the mileage, date, oil brand and viscosity used, and the brand and model of oil filter used. I usually include any inspections I do, changing of wipers, belts, brakes, anti-freeze, etc in the logbook. There's not a lot of difference in adding or subtract a few miles on the logbook. Ford is more interested in the fact that it was done in a timely manner and the correct certified oil was used with the correct oil filter. That your logbook is off 50 miles one way or the other doesn't matter. All things considered, you are exceeding Fords requirements by a lot so I wouldn't worry about it.
