Leveling and Tire Questions
New Member here and first time ford owner. I have been in 3 consecutive GM's (1500, 2500) and really love this new truck!
Anyways, I really want to get this truck off the ground a little bit. I got a 15 XLT crew cab with the 6.5 box and I think lifting it a bit will take away the limousine look it has. I do tow a bass boat a good bit in the summers and want to make sure that I don't look like I am driving up hill when its in tow. If I went with a 2" leveling kit would I be OK or do I still need a rear block added?
Regarding tires, I really don't want to sacrifice the current ride just yet. Driving this compared to the 3/4 ton I had is a slice of heaven. It looks like if I go any bigger I will need LT rated tires?
Any help or suggestions on a kit would be appreciated.

Maybe a little less lift in the front (daystar budget boost) so you can possibly avoid the rear bags, just a thought. A "P" rated 275/60/20 gets you into 33" tires without sacrificing your ride. I had the same concerns because I tow a boat as well and didn't want the sag but didn't want to do the bags or timbrens. I did bilsteins on .75" (got me an inch) and LT275/70/18 BFG TA's and it works real good with just the boat on. With 1000 lbs in the bed it and boat it does sag but it's not **** dragging the rear bumper. Hope this helps.
