aftermarket ignition coils for coyote 5.0L
My F150 is a 2011 coyote 5.0. Early in 2026 I'm planning to remove the front cover and replace the gaskets/front main seal, new valve covers and gaskets. So I'm thinking about replacing the coils as well. No issues with the coils, just thinking "preventive maintenance" as with the gaskets. I see "original" Ford Motorcraft on Ebay but they seem too cheap to be authentic (8pcs for ~$120) when Rock Auto has them for $50 ea. That being said, I don't mind using aftermarket if they are of OEM quality. For a lot of the aftermarket stuff I've used over the years in different vehicles and on this truck, I tend to stick to Bosch since I've had good luck, but I don't think they make ignition coils for this engine. Any thoughts/feedback from those who have done coil replacements?
