Battery light /multi codes
Battery light /multi codes
2010 f150 lariat. Battery light come on and off. Sometimes it will stay on for a little while. When I run codes sometimes I get 4 (p0652,p065B,u0253,b1676) when light goes off and comes on again I’ll get 2 codes(u0253,b1676).
today it came on ran code and got the 4 left it running while I pumped gas light goes off drove several miles light comes on and I get the 2 codes. Up until today the light would come on and go off with in a sec or 2. Today when it came on it stayed on for several miles until I got to station to pump gas left idle left station drove several mile before it come on again stayed on for several miles until I got to where I was going and turned off engin. Left sitting for about an hour drive home and no lights

Not sure if 2010 and 2014 are the same but in Alldata the B and P dtc's appear to be voltage issue that sets the code, and the U dtc says it is a lost communication to the Accessory Protocol Interface Module.
here is the information:
DTC B1676 (Battery Pack Voltage Out of Range) — this DTC sets in every ignition cycle if, with the ignition in the RUN position and vehicle speed greater than 6 km/h (4 mph), the battery voltage is less than 10 volts or more than 17 volts. DTCs set in the ignition cycle can only be cleared by cycling the ignition off and on once the fault has been corrected
DTC P065B (Generator Control Circuit Range/Performance) — The PCM sets this DTC if the input frequency was continuously less than 80 Hz or more than 200 Hz. Additionally, if the signal shows a faulted condition that is happening in a fluctuating manner, the PCM tracks the fluctuations between faulted and normal conditions. This DTC can also set if the fluctuations occur frequently within a short amount of time.
DTC PO652 This DTC sets when the electronic throttle control reference voltage (ETCREF) circuit is less than VREF minimum.
U0253:00 Lost Communication With Accessory Protocol Interface Module
hope it might help, I wonder if the alternator tests ok but is fluctuating voltages either to high or to low causing the issue.
hope this might help to point you in the right direction.
