Unhappy What kind of transmission fluid can I use

I really need some help here I was told that I can use Super Tech ISO 46 Hydraulic fluid instead of transmission fluid in my 2010 F150 pick up. A guy told me I could but me being a female don't really know what to believe so any help anybody can give me is greatly appreciated.

You'll want to read your owner's manual. All that stuff is in there...

Dump the "Guy"... tranny's today have very, very specific requirements not just for lubrication and colling as well (plus internal electronic sensor and servo protection)......... as others have recommended, look at your owner's manual for the specific type... if still under warranty, use motorcraft!!!!!!

Motorcraft Mercon LV preferred, if you use any other fluid make sure it meets Mercon LV specs. It will say right on the bottle.
