Transmission code P0016 on a 2011 F-150

What to replace when this code pops up on the check engine light. It seems to cause poor acceleration, especially when you going up a hill.

Which engine? That's not a transmission code, it's an engine code.

Sounds like you may have a problem with your timing set. It may be that your chains have stretched or that your cam phaser is starting to get loose. This code is telling you that the bank 1 camshaft is out of sync with the crank shaft. While this could be a cam or crank sensor, in my experience, it is almost always the timing set.
