You need a OBD2 scanner that can read airbag codes.

Check fuse 36 and 41 in the cab fuse box.

Also check to see if any wires under the seats are unplugged.

Airbag Light after 10-Way power seat swap

Hi Guys,

not to highjack, but I am having the same problem. I am putting in new power seats into my 2011 XLT. I will be bypassing the DCM and directly wire to the seat motors. The seats are out of a 2011 FX4 Supercab. Do I need to retain the pretensioners from my original seats? Or will I just need to get in and reset the airbag codes? In all the threads I have read about the wiring bypass of the DCM, no mention of airbag lights have come up.... The seats are in A++ condition, so I am making the assumption that the airbags are equally good.

Thanks!
