Hello everyone. Excited to be here. Just picked up a '13 xlt crew cab with 106k miles. I was limited in my search as I live in a small market and needed a place willing to take my 6.0 excursion on trade. The more I look at the truck, the more I notice small creature comforts that are missing. I know some lines of vehicles use the same wiring harnesses for all trim lines because it's cheaper. I did a search and couldnt find the info I'm looking for, but maybe I didnt use the right search terms. I'm wondering what things I can add because the woring is there if I find parts at salvage yards or something. I've got the cloth manual bench in front.

is there wiring for power seats already there? What about power heated?

I've got base mirrors that dont have blinkers on them or anything. Is there wiring for better/heated mirrors, or better yet, tow mirrors?

is the wiring there to upgrade the dash control/stereo area over the basic version? I see some models in that year that had a screen and stuff. Thanks again for your help.

s there wiring for power seats already there? What about power heated? - XLT's "should" have the factory harness under the carpeting under the driver's seat. You can upgrade to better leather power seats, but you will have to look up on how to bypass the DCM (Memory Control Module). Heating and cooling require more in depth modifications....

Thanks again for your help. - I went to Crutchfield and put in an Alpine ILX-650 with amp and a powered sub. The speakers are GARBAGE, upgrade those at a minimum. I used Infinity 2 ways and they are terrific. The factory connectors are garbage as well, and I the inside of the door is always wet! Get some good weatherproof 2-Wire connectors.
