So I thought the driver side door lock stopped all together but for some reason when the door is open the door unlock and lock from key fob work fine as soon as you close the door no response no sound no clicking no nothing.
I just find it odd that it will work fine with the door open but not closed.
Just order new actuator or could be fixable or something else?

Check the wiring that goes to the door. It might be getting pinched when the door is shut.
