2013 F150 Eco

My heater stopped working about a week ago, wondering if there is anything besides the heater core that might be causing the problem?
My last truck was a 1979 F150 and I changed the heater core on it more than once but this newer truck is not my 79!
Thanks for any help for a newbie!
Jeff

Blows cold air, no problems moving air from defrost to front panel to floor.....just ice cold air!!!

Automatic or manual climate control - single zone or dual zone?

Single zone.
I apologize, this is very new for me dealing with this newer model F150. I couldn't even find the radiator cap:/
I put anifreeze in the reservoir and got it back up to the level line and that got my heater working pdq.

Sounds like you have a coolant leak you need to find.

So about two months ago I was cleaning my truck and when I picked up the floor mat to vacuum it felt damp underneath but at the time we had just had our grandkids and I figured they spilled water or something. Now thinking back I wonder if I have a leak that caused that?
How do I track that down?

It's probably your heater core leaking. Does it smell like coolant?

I'll have to pay attention and check regularly and see.
That heater core replacement is pricey........
