Fuel leak or gauge problem?

I just noticed my 2012 5.0 apparently losing fuel rapidly. I notice both my trip computer and analog gauge lowering much faster than usual. I refueled my truck and the gauge increased by the appropriate amount. My daughter drove my truck yesterday and said the gauge went down while it was sitting in the parking lot.

Unfortunately I don't have much time to troubleshoot because of my very long work hours. At this point I'm not sure if it's safe to drive.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Do you smell fuel outside of the vehicle? If no, then it's likely safe to drive.

It might be the fuel pump arm acting funky.

Lastly, idling a lot and a lead foot can also attribute to this.
