I have a 2009 F 250 Super duty, the last few days I have noticed that the flashing blue light stays on steady all the time, when the truck is turned off. It goes out normally when the truck is running. The light used to flash slowly when the truck was parked and locked, My remote works when it wants to but I have it booked for a new key fob next week and of course programming the key fob to the truck.
Is the overall problem related to the key fob or what?

 

That blue light sounds like an aftermarket security system. I would look under the dash to see if there is a module. Once you find out the make and model of it, you can do some research and download a manual for it. I'm sure it will tell you what the light means when it's solid.
