Has anybody installed the remote start ,but a factory one?
I don't want to carry around two FOB's,so would like to have one that can be programmed to the truck's door locks and start chip.

I have a factory installed remote start and still have 2 keys fobs. It looks pretty simple to install. Mine was already installed but just looking at it, it doesn't seem too difficult. I've researched buying a single key fob but can't find one that has the extra button for the remote start. Here's a pic of what mine looks like. Hope this helps.

I just came across your post. I purchased an aftermarket remote starter. One FOB to control starter and door locks - check best Buy, I purchased one or my son for $250.
