2010 Lariat Instrument Cluster Issues
2010 Lariat Instrument Cluster Issues
I'm new as of about 15 minutes ago but I've read several, very helpful, posts over the years and I was hoping that someone may have an answer for a particular issue I'm having.
I have 2010 Lariat with ~ 93K miles. The issue I'm having is that the instrument panel is blacking out periodically. If I give the dash a firm 'swat' it will come back on. After reading an older post, I went ahead and replaced the battery on 8/6/2017. It seemed to correct the issue then it went out again a few hrs later.
Any ideas? Could it be a bad connector or solder joint somewhere? I appreciate the help, it seems like there have been a lot of failing parts all of a sudden and it's starting to add up.
Thanks

basically all the 99-03 trucks had solder issues, as well as the 04-08 trucks.
Would not surprise me if thats the case going forward on the newer trucks.
