Tires

I'm new here so excuse me if I repeat a thread.... so my question is what is the biggest size tire can I put on a stock 18" rim without bulging? I think the width is 8.8" wide .... some say 285/65 or 60. Is this true ?

Go to tirerack and look at the specs to determine what the largest size is that has a recommended rim width that includes the rim width of your wheels.

The factory 17's and 18's are only 7.5" wide, the 20's are 8.5"

On a 295/70/18 tire rack says rim width range 7.5-10" so that size should be good
