3v blower?

Hey guys, I've been running through pages and pages on the search but can't find a straight answer. The 09-10 4.6 3v --- is it the same as the mustang 3v? Meaning is it possible to add the blower/supporting necessities to the F150 rather then just dropping 6ginos on a kit? I only ask because I might have found a good deal on a 10 XL but I don't like the low numbers and bolt ons will end up adding upto 6 grand without the power numbers to show for it.. Any thoughts?

I think they are pretty similar but often Ford changes the intake manifold and exhaust manifolds on the trucks. I also think the cams are different.
