Battery light

My 2013 f150 the battery light comes on bout 2 min after driving stays on for a few min then turns off took for a battery and alternator test alternator was foot battery bad replaced battery was fine for 2 days now doing it again any ideas

I think there is some kind of reset when you replace the battery, it seems to me someone posted about it.

Patman and King Ranch Coy know about it. Try a search.

Try the BMS ( Battery Monitoring System) Reset. Unhook both terminals for 30 to 45 mins, then hook them back up slam the hood and don't touch the truck for 12 hours. By not touching it meaning no locking the doors, no opening the doors etc. If you can't or don't want to do that you can take it to the dealer and get them to reset it with their computer, mine wanted 1 hour labor to hook the computer up so I did it the 1st way. Since then I haven't seen the battery light on the dash or the battery saver message on radio.

Thanks Coy for jumping in on this one. I thought that I had read that you had a similar issue, just couldn't remember where I saw it and was too lazy to do a search.
