Hi, i am new to forum and could sure use some help. My 2013 f150 fx4 5.0 l has an intermittent rough idle and intermittent strange smell that comes inside the truck. Check engine light is on. Have been working with local ford dealer shop on this for about a month. Check engine light code has been primarily indicating misfire in number 8 cylinder. Ford dealer has replaced all coils, all plugs (gapped all at .045), run compression test--all good and pulled valve cover and inspected number 8 cylinder with camera (everything looked good and extremely clean). Dealer thinks it may be an intermittent sticky valve. The smell comes intermittently and is hard to describe --kind of an almost transmission fluid smell (transmission flud level is fine and not leaking and working great), truck has 155,000 easy highway miles. I have also added chevron techron for the last 3 tanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated,.
