Where have you been?

I had open elbow surgery 18 months ago and have been struggling with placing my left elbow on the arm rest of any vehicle and still use a soft mouse pad on my desk to protect it.

Check. They also look pretty thick unless you're very tall with very short arms. I think I'll look into finding some nice material and then experiment with the thickness of the padding and then having someone sew up a pair for me and just attach them with velcro or double sided tape.

I think I'll start by going to my local upholstery shop and picking up some scraps of different material and try to find one that I like.

Well, not really - we tested it with a few drivers - from 5'8" to 6'5" and they all confirmed added comfort. Of course the difference is much bigger with taller drivers.

Is there a reason it doesn't go full length of the pad on the door? I'm interested but it seems like it might be "cut short"

Cosmetically it would look better if it fully matched the lines on the door, and went full length all the way back.

I'm tall 6'6" and think it would help.

Exclamation F150forum members buying experience .....

Just a heads-up to the F150online members that may not also have F150forum membership .....

The SnapRest was initially offered at F150forum several months ago (May, 2015). Not all of the buyer's experiences were positive. FWIW (it's a long thread and the following link starts with orders being received) .....Would recommend reading beyond where the above starts for the full effect.

Good looking out. Thanks for that!

Took about an hour to read from Page 8 to the end.

Guys,

Of course not all experiences were positive. They never are. I have absoutely no problem with you reading and sharing that thread. I believe this shows out approach to the product, customers and problems that always appear pretty well.

The SnapRest(TM) is a new product, designed from scratch, so problems on initial stages of its market presence are inevitable. We do stand behind our product but we always listen to what our customers have to say about it. If you read that thread carefully, you'll see that most concerns either have already been addressed or are scheduled for near future.

And same thing will happen here - whoever wants to share their thoughts about our products, we are here for you to listen and discuss

Take care

You don't have to be so defensive,no one is attacking you here. I just told him thanks for sharing a link about some of the product's history.

I've already made a suggestion that has been overlooked
