I had a 2011 F350 KR, it had a button by the bottom right hand corner to dim the screen. I have only had my 2014 F150 FX4 for a short time, so far I have not been able to figure out if I have a quick access button for this on my new truck. Anyone know if there is a quick way of doing it?

 

There should be an option inside the main menu to set the brightness.

 

On my 2014 you have to touch Settings, touch Display, touch Brightness, then you can either set Auto Dim, or you can manually dim the display.

 

Thanks to you both but what I'm looking for is a quick button outside of the setting. For example, on my 2011 King Ranch there is a row of vertical buttons on both sides of the screen, the bottom one on the right side, if you push it it can black out the screen, leaving the time and a small display of radio station or tag of song your listening to. Anything like this on the FX4?

 

I know that option is there but I think it's in one of the onscreen menus, not a physical button.
