Looks good. Do you have a write up about this? I am guessing you have a 2wd truck because that is where my 4wd switch is.

Yes, a how too with a list of parts and where you got them would be spectacular. I hate my coin holder.

I have a 4x4 selector dial there in my truck, but a very nice install and mod. It loolks like it should have been a factory option.

Were your wires there hot already? Or did you have to run a jumper?

Mine are not hot...

Yep. In the event that you have 2 smallish and 3 medium-large coins in your possession and they just won’t fit in your pocket or maybe you need them handy for say a toll booth, then that is the feature for you. Otherwise, it’s useless. The guy who came up with that idea probably got a raise too.

I run battery line and switched power line from the fuse box. There is switched power in the connector, but must be going thru some resistor-has around 1v less.
The ground is in the connector behind the coin holder.
Got the meter from ebay.
Had to cut some plastic around the hole with the dremel.

Ok that must be why it wasn't enough to light up my test light. I need to check it with my meter. I wonder if there's a way to fix it w/o much trouble. I've got a project going & want to use it.
