offsets

Hello I'm looking to get my 2010 fx4 stanced out and have the tires stick out 3~4 inces past the fender flair any ideas of what kind of offset / spacing I will need ?

Hi.

WTF does "stanced out" mean?

What size tires are you planning to run? Have you considered the repercussions of modifying the truck in order to get it "stanced out"? You do know yer gas mileage will suck, so will yer performance. You'll want to look into tuning/re-gearing, etc.

Just making sure you know there's more to it than just slapping on a set of Chinglish, Flea-Bay wheel spacers 'n callin' it good, yo. (Please tell me you weren't gonna do that)

And with your wheels poked out that far, tell me you have a suspension lift and don't seriously plan to do this with a leveling kit. You won't have any wheel well left and only half a fender after trimming for rub. Also, consider the abuse your body paint is going to be forced to take.

To make this stance worm right, be lifted 8"s at least. -24 offset would be the farthest I would go.
