limited and some small issues

Hello all,

just bought a new to me 2013 F-150 Limited.. truck is great and I love the interior, but I have a couple of questions/ concerns.

1- when at a stop light or braking, after releasing the brakes I can feel a quick sudden vibration the feeling also in the brake pedal, not sure if this is coming from the engine, but its fast .. is this something normal or that someone else had experienced before?

2-when turning engine on, it takes a long crank, I was thinking maybe battery

3- the A/C vent grills are peeling off and also the chrome bezel around the shift ****..

please let me know if you guys had anything similar..

thank you

1. Less than 36k miles? Warranty, see a Ford dealer.

2. If it cranks the battery is fine.

No, not the starter either. It has to be a fuel or ignition issue.

are you on level ground or on a slope?

On a slope there is a hill holder function that holds the pressure in the brakes till you hit the accelerator. Maybe you are feeling this?

maybe its inadvertent hill holder activation?

or it could be something in the throttle response?

Hard to say for sure with that description

Maybe have a dealer service dept check it out...

I was reading about the drive shaft, This is what the other user description was " feels like the there is pressure released at the suspension. and the truck kinda bumps a little. Same goes when I come to a complete stop then let up on the brake and step on the gas, I get the same feel and the drive train kinda bumps"

Come back and tell us how things go on Monday, solrac6262. I'll be able to help once your dealership has checked out your truck.
